Wings Etc. Terre Haute (Plaza North) aims to help Terre Haute North High School’s Dance Marathon reach their $40,000 donation goal for Riley Children’s Hospital

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (July 12, 2023) – On Wednesday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Wings Etc. fans can dine at the Terre Haute (Plaza North) restaurant while helping a local cause raise money for Riley Children’s Hospital. During the fundraising event, 15% of food and soft drink sales will be donated to Terre Haute North High School’s Dance Marathon, which aims to raise $40,000 for Riley by February 2024.

“We are part of the Terre Haute community and try our best to give back as often as we can,” said Wes Baker, Wings Etc. Terre Haute (Plaza North) Area Manager.

“It means a lot to us that we will be raising funds for Riley Children’s Hospital and have the opportunity to improve the lives of children,” added Randy Reiva, Wings Etc. Terre Haute (Plaza North) General Manager.

The Dance Marathon is an annual fundraising event set for Feb. 16, 2024, led by high school students at Terre Haute North High School and directed by teacher Katie Goldner. On the night of the event, 150-200 students will hold a celebration, while raising as much money as possible.

“Last year, my students were able to raise $40,000 that all went directly to Riley Children’s Hospital, and we have the goal of doing it again this year,” said Goldner. “Forty thousand dollars is a lot of money for teenagers, so we’re fundraising early and attempting to raise as much as we possibly can.”

Golder said partnering with businesses like Wings Etc. Terre Haute (Plaza North) will be essential in hitting that goal and invites other businesses to reach out.

Those wishing to help Wings Etc. and Dance Marathon raise money for Riley Children’s Hospital can do so by dining in or carrying out food at Wings Etc. on July 19.
